Sales & Marketing Internship - Tucson


This position is responsible for assisting the on premise (restaurants & bars) sales department with menu tracking, merchandising, new item execution, spearheading supplier programs and conducting sales calls/promotions.


+ _Primary (Essential) Duties_

1. Draft PowerPoint presentations for marketing proposals and supplier event recaps.

2. Create and participate in New Product launches, general sales meetings and annual trade shows.

1. Maintain, track certain suppliers POS inventory. Merchandising accounts with POS

2. Menu tracking program

3. ISA's-alerting purchasing with monthly sales projections on specific items.

4. Promotional request, coordination of demo models.

5. Will Call delivery assistance.

6. Covering sales routes during vacation periods.

7. Graphic requests (submission, editing, and delivery)

8. Assist with power point presentations/proposals

9. ETA's on out of stock items.

10. Product allocations

11. Operational assistance.

12. Surveys and national account compliance

13. Special event, charity requests (promo attendance), venue branding and merchandising.


**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ **_Must be at least 21 years of age._**

+ **Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration/ Sales from an accredited university.**

+ Must have reliable transportation with valid driver's license.

**Preferred Qualification:**

+ Previous work experience in the wine/spirits/hospitality industry and or a strong desire to increase knowledge in the realm of distribution operations.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**

+ Proficiency using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to work with others to accomplish tasks, assignments and projects.

+ Strong communication skills to expresses ideas clearly and effectively when speaking and/or writing to individuals or groups; listens attentively; ensures that information is understood by all parties; and shares information in a timely manner.

+ Ability to accurately and carefully follow established procedures for completing work tasks.

+ Ability to set priorities with an appropriate sense of what is most important and plan with an appropriate and realistic sense of the time demand involved.

+ Ability to work through ambiguity in order to maintain momentum and achieve progress.

+ Demonstrate respect and value contributions ofindividuals from diverse backgrounds
