Position Overview


The Senior Talent Acquisition Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the RPO vendor account management and contract management processes as well as assisting with complex vendor negotiations. Leads engagement with RPO suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration, performance measurement and improvement, as well as driving efficiency. Responsible for partnering with supply chain in the strategic sourcing of solutions while working closely with associated teams in TA.




Responsibilities



+ Act as the primary role responsible for ownership, management, and performance of RPO relationships.


+ Acts as an escalation point for conflicts, risks, issues and action items as brought forth by hiring managers or project team. Responds to issues or problems that arise in day-to-day project operations and/or during development efforts. Meets with appropriate staff to define and investigate problems or issues and propose solutions with time and cost estimates. Verifies results of all changes and/or enhancements.


+ Works with internal and external business partners to plan, design, implement and satisfy project requirements.


+ Assigns tasks, goals and responsibilities to project team members for research and development, budgeting, and scheduled delivery.


+ Serves as liaison between project team members, business partners and technical resources.


+ Provides ongoing strategic direction and budgeting to project team.


+ Tracks progress, updates project management software and communication log with deliverables and artifacts created during project execution.


+ Guides the development of vendor strategy and planning, working closely with TA leadership.to ensure alignment with processes and procedures.


+ Provides TA expertise around contracting, SLAs, and contract negotiation. (management of software, consulting engagements, and non-disclosure agreements).


+ Voice of TA to assess key suppliers in terms of their strategic importance, and develops relationship and governance plans accordingly.


+ Maintains an up-to-date view of all current TA partners and key suppliers, and tracks their performance. Leads engagement with vendors and suppliers, ensuring consistency, effective collaboration, performance measurement and improvement, and driving efficiency as defined by the TA strategy.


+ Builds strategic and collaborative relationships with TA IT partners and key suppliers.


+ Partners with Supply Chain and assists in the RFI/RFP process and vendor selection, providing best practice and negotiation strategies, from the TA perspective.


+ Oversees TA supplier performance management through monthly status meetings.


+ Working with supplier relationship owners from across TA, reviews suppliers' contracts to identify opportunities to improve in terms of cost savings, scope changes, terms and conditions, SLAs, risk management, termination and renewal clauses, penalties, and rewards.


+ Ensures that effective scorecard and performance management tools and routines are in place, to ensure that suppliers deliver and exceed their obligations and agreed service levels.


+ Drives continuous improvement in terms of service and supplier innovation.







Education and Experience Requirements



+ Five years' experience managing and vendors. (Preferred)


+ Strong understanding of all stages in a project lifecycle, including where vendor selection occurs.


+ Experience with managing third-party suppliers and contract negotiations


+ Four-year degree (required)

+ Ability to build customer relationships and provide customer service


+ Conflict resolution skills


+ Knowledge of company products and services


+ Attention to detail and accuracy


+ Written and verbal communication skills


+ Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)


+ Mathematical skill to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volume


+ Time management skills, including punctuality for on-time attendance


+ Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks


+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization; influence without authority


+ Knowledge of talent acquisition and/or recruiting strategies


+ Design skills through Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred


+ Knowledge of SEO and SEM applied strategies
