Human Resources Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Greeting visitors and organizing caterings for visitors.
* Assist with internal recruiting by:
* Posting open positions
* Participating in job fairs
* Coordinating background checks and new-hire drug testing.
* Ensuring all new hire documents are completed in a timely manner.
* Assist with new employee onboarding as needed.
* Assisting with time and labor processing for hourly timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
* Assist with new hire benefits follow-up meetings.
* Provide basic Kronos support for employees.
* Creating and maintain employee personnel files.
* Assist with planning and executing events and meetings.
* Assist with the Employee Tool Order System.
* Update and maintain bulletin boards and television monitors.
* Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
* Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field. Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred.
* Previous payroll and HR work experience with Kronos/ADP preferred.
* Strong customer focus with ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* Self-motivated, self-directed, and organized.
* Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
* High level of attention to detail, professionalism, and independence.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgement and diplomacy.
