We have an immediate opening for an Stress Lab Technician in Troy, Ohio.


**Qualification:** **Position Responsibilities** :

o Lay, attach, wire and solder strain gages on aircraft wheels and brakes for testing.


o Locating and marking of gage locations given from engineering drawings


o Wire and properly route wires, and connect with appropriate slip ring connectors


o Building up of instrumented wheel and brake assemblies for test.


o Troubleshoot, repair, and assist lead technician with support during strain gage testing


**Minimum Required Qualifications:**


Associate's/Technical degree (two years)

Familiarity with basic mechanics and electronics knowledge.

Experience reading engineering drawings.

Skills required are an aptitude for electronics and mechanics, attention to detail, and some experience with electronics related troubleshooting and/or problem solving.


**Preferred Qualifications:**


Prior experience laying, and wiring strain gages.

Soldering experience is also desired.

Aerospace experience is a plus but not required.


**Education:** **Education Level Required:**

Associate's Degree


**Educational Discipline(s) Preferred:**

Mechanical and/or Electrical/electronics engineering technology
